The page experience focuses on four key signals

Google wants to provide a good user experience. It doesn’t reflect well on its product if it serves pages that take a long time to load, don’t load well on certain devices, or are covered in large ads that prevent users from reaching the page .

Google states: “Google’s core ranking systems seek to reward content that provides a good page experience.”

  • Mobile-friendliness
  • Core web vitals.

Page experience is important, but not the most critical factor. In some cases, it doesn’t apply to ranking, but is more critical when there are two pages vying for the spot.

As John Mueller explains: “If all the content is very c level contact list  similar on the search results page, then probably using page experience helps a little bit in understanding which of these are fast pages or logical pages in terms of user experience and which of these are somewhat less logical pages to show in search results.”

Google wants to provide the best product on the market and this is a critical part of SEO that has been overlooked. Focusing on Google’s motivation and working with it will give you better ranking results than anything else.

Since Google first launched, SEO professionals have been using links to improve rankings. And Google has been cracking down on link spam to try to improve its results.

Many SEO professionals believe that links are being phased out as a ranking factor. In a 2022 poll by Marie Haynes, 44% of SEO professionals who responded believed that link building is less effective now compared to a few years ago.

In the early days of Google, links quickly became the using the strikingly blogging tool most widely used ranking spam technique. It took Google until 2012 and the legendary Penguin update to eliminate low-quality links, and it has been trying to downplay the importance of links ever since.

However, the first time a Google spokesperson stated online that links are a ranking factor was in 2016. In a Q&A with Ammon Johns and others, Google’s Senior Search Quality Strategist Andrey Lipattsev stated that the top 3 ranking signals are “Content, Links, RankBrain.”
